Stella McCartney accessories have become one of the most well-known lines of fashion items. Stella McCartney is a famous English fashion label, and the name of the daughter of Paul McCartney (one of the former Beatles). Stella was not only a fashion artist but also a rock photographer.

The designs were created without any type of animal fur or skin. As mentioned in the previous paragraph she had created clothing for Adidas. These items were sold as an animal-friendly product, meaning that it was appropriate attire for those who are vegetarians and/or those who support animal rights.

How Stella McCartney Got Started

She actually designed her first clothing item at age 12. It was a jacket. Only three years later she landed a job working for Christian Lacroix, and then went on to study fashion at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in the early 1990s.

It was during the 1990s that Stella also designed her sister’s wedding dress when her sister was preparing to marry Alister Donald in 1998. Perhaps this experience is what led her to the opportunity to design Madonna’s wedding dress when Madonna was to be married to Guy Ritchie in the year 2000.

At the graduation runway show some of her signature student fashion designs were modeled by famous celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Yasmin Le Bon, and Kate Moss. This show made the news and then was soon after sold to a London Boutique called Tokio.

In later years, Stella McCartney had the honor of designing clothes for celebrities such as Madonna for her Re-Invention tour as well as for Annie Lennox (member of Eurhythmics).

She also created a line of skin care simply referred to as CARE. This particular skin care brand includes seven products, all of which are 100% organically based. One of the products is cleansing milk that has a lemon balm base and another one is a linden blossom floral cleansing water.
